Luncheon Speaker: Luke Marklin | Uber

Luke has been a General Manager at Uber since November 2014 and currently oversees the central Georgia market, based out of the Atlanta office. He is responsible for leading the locally based team to execute all business operations in Atlanta, including supply, logistics, marketing and policy and communications. He has led the successful passage of statewide ridesharing legislation, executed city wide marketing promotions and continues to enable Uber’s rapid growth throughout Central Georgia. Previously, Luke worked for Emerson Electric Co. in marketing and strategic planning. His experiences include developing strategies for the CEO, implementing a global product launch and leading a diverse, international team while living in the United Kingdom. Luke received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor in Engineering from Purdue University. He currently resides in Atlanta with his wife, Tara, and their son, August.
